Host family

Hello!

Finally I got long waited mail about my future host family! Actually it happened already on 21st June, but I was visiting my granfmother and didn't have time to write here.

I will have host dad , host mom  and in my age host sister Tabea and I will set myself in their place in Meppen. For them "little village", but for me pretty big, since I live in village which has about 250 people! They also have two dogs ^^

I could say, as I got the letter and read it i was very very pleased with family who chose me and we have many things incommon, which most likely means we will get along soon very well :) (hope so xD)

For now we already talk through faceboook, more with my host sister , but it's something! Both of us can't wait for our first meeting! We have already discussed what kind of subjects I will take in school and what we will be doing together... and surprise surprise.. seems I'm going to learn piano ! ^^

Tomorrow is ELO, big camp before exchange in year in place called Väike-Maarja (by the way, im leaving on 5th August! And I'm lucky since my family doesn't live far away from Hambrug camp), which I'm waiting with exitment! It lasts 3 days and I will be able to meet many exchange students! ^^

But until then, have a nice summer ^^Enel.

Germans all together.

Hey!

I thought to mention a little bit about event, what future YFU people and returned YFU people  and atm in Estonia beiing Germans had on 23rd March.

Was a little sitting together and also turned in my contract. I went to meeting place by longer route, because I  didnt want to be the first one get there and also not the last one, but in the end still got there as 2nd person. I sat on comy couch and waited with curiosity what it going to happen.

Well, for sure a lot more people came together than I first expected. I thought like, little event or so, in the end we had 13 people, 5 of them were Germans! It was super awesome!

We began our event with introducing ourselves. Those who are becoming exchange student explained why they want to go and for my surprise I  was only one who’s first option was Germany and I knew why I want to go there. But well, Im not sure anymore either. Well, after that at the moment and returned YFU people talked about themselves and their years. We also had somewhat memory game, which was won by team „No“, where I was in! I had great team ;) And in the end, as event got a bit borning we went on street and did energizers (no idea how to write it in English either), it was fun! Later we talked a little bit more and was also able to listen some real German, because German people forgot, us – not yet so proffesionals in their language.

But in the end it was a fun day!

Have a sunny day!
Enel.

Introduction

Hello!

I am 17 year old 10th grader Enel, who wishes to become exchange student on new school year 2013/14 for 11 months. I am from Estonia, Järva County, from little village called Käravete. I’m a good student.

I am active youngster inside and outside of  the school. I am part of our school’s student council and I help to find supporters to those who need charity.

I really like art and I have achived many good places with it. For example, lately I got 3rd place in Järva County’s Best Young Artist contest, where i competed in age group 10-12. I also like to read and sometimes I get lost behind piano.

The idea of becoming a exchange student I got around age 13-14. Few YFU people came to talk about in our school and in “activity room“ (no idea how it’s supposed to be in English... it’s a room where student council has it’s meetings and all school events are planned). Now that I have finished my exams, I know I’m ready to try myself out and make my world picture bigger.

Recently I got a scholarship from YFU for 1500euros, what is great support for my program, since cost of the program is 5715 euros!

For a moment this is all, gotta work on my sponsors /international file!
Have a sunny day!
Enel.
