Münster

Hei hei,

i decided to start making new entrys every friday evning.

Last weekend passed quietly.

On Saturday host-sis, host-dad and me went with our bisycles into cafe, for what we had to do ~10km trip. Host-mom came with her car and also took the dogs with her. Cafe we went to, was mainly meant for cake, tea and coffee. Cakes tasted very well! :3
On Sunday we went to Railway Museum. There wasn't so much to see, but the intresting part there was that we were able to go on a ~30 minute trip with older kind of train! :)

School week just passed by, calmly. On Tuesday I went to Münster! For first time I was able to see how real highway looks like and how does it feel to sit in a car what goes 170-180km/h. Host-dad had some kind of meeting in Münster so I was alone there for some time and went around and took some pictures. Münster is somewhat called "Univeristy town". And I can say, that there wasn't many old people at all, and if there was, they seemed to be toursits only. Most of the sightseeings were churches and you were able to find one pretty much after every 20 meters, but lovely arhitecture and lot to see! Old town was super!

Nothing else much happened. I'm trying to do my best in school.

This here was my Biology concpect, two classes material. Not bad when I can write down from blackboard. The problem is that I can't really understand what is this all about I have written, only a few.

Also.. now every Thursday I will be in 8th graders English class. I don't study there, opposite. Together with other teacher we lead the class and try to teach them grammas, listening, reading .. etc.. very fun, finally one class, where I can realax! :)

Have a nice weekend!

First school days

Hei

School school school...

On Wednesday we put together my school plan which looks now like this:

Art (Kunst), Maths, Biology, P.E. (Skating), History (Geschichte), Politics
If I'm better with language, maybe I add more classes on 2nd course.

Time-table done, went on little shopping tour with host-mom, got these 3 things:

Of course I bought my first school things, so I could write some things up, if I understand!

Later I went on a bike tour alone. Next to our house is watermill like thing called Herrenmühle:

Close to house, with bike ~2...3mins, is lake for swimming called Schlagbrückener:

Few kilometers away is this lovely place, a bit in ruins, but nice place just to be and think:

On Thursday was my first school day, luckily wasn't so nervous and because I had to go for 2nd class, to talk with school secretary, I was able to sleep longer :) She showed me around school house and explained how to find classes. Also met school's principal and teached little bit Estonian to him.  Also got my books for school year. Luckly politics classes were dismissed, so I had to be there just for art classes. Wasn't so bad. Had to introduce myself a little bit, yay...

On friday, today, was a little bit different. To fin first class I had to use my german knowledge and ask directions and one nice girl lead me to class. All teachers are very very friendly and helpful :) First they explain to class and then quikly to me in English, since I can't understand all. Also was first time students came around me to say hello and talk a little bit :)
My sweet school for this year :)
Finally my host-sis returns tomorrow! yay!

Have a nice weekend,

First three days in host-family

Hey

Three days in family..

Getting there was "very fun"! Journey started from Hamburg at 12:46 with train what went out actually 12:57 and got to Bremen 13:52, but was supposed to be there 13:41. In Bremen I had to change train to get to Oldenbrug, but because my train was 11mins late, I had 3 minutes to get from platform 9 to 3, but I made it! My family and our dogs were waiting me in Oldenburg with cute sign "Willkommen Enel", so it was easy to find them.

After that we went on YFU meeting in Oldenbrug, because my host-paretns needed to be there. At first we just sat there and had cake and muffins and some black tea with milk. Yup, with milk, for mew pretty new thing, but it was first time when black tea actually tasted nice. Little bit later, when prgoram started, host-familys staied in one room, host-brothers/sisters in the other room, and exchange students in same room. For my surprise 2nd exchange student on the meeting was a girl from my camp in Jugendberg :)

We got home in the evning, saw our nice two floored house, im not sure how many rooms we have. Also saw my room and got little notebook from family to have a diary for memory. Also I got this handsome rooster, who is looking for name :3 Also gave them my gift, cook book and next week me and my host-sis will cook something! Also made first Skype call home, was short, bad connection. Later we took my host-sis next to school on bus, because she had to go on 5 day trip to Vienna. :(

Monday, 12. august, nothing special. I go first time to school on wednesday to put together my timetable :) But about monday... woke early, ate, chose myself a bike with what I start going to school. At 11 o'clock I went to Sparkasse to make bank-account. We had lunch at host-dad's mom's place. Saddly I was still a little bit sick and had to lie down after eating so I wouldnt throw up. When I got home I made nice 3hours long nap and after that I was fine. Watched some TV, sports and then dinner, but I didn't eat much, just in case. After dinner we went to Meppen city and my host-parents showed me around, but saddly it went too long and I couldn't talk long with my Estonian family. After that to sleep.

Today, tuesday, 13.august, i woke more early, because at 9:00 i had to go to more into city of Meppen and write myself in, make me legal to live here. This done, we stopped with host-mom at some shops and looked where to come back tomorrow. We bought me sudoku book, so I have somthing to do, because I still don't know anyone, because I don't go outside alone and host-sis isn't home. Then we had lunch and after that I went to my room to draw and do some sudokus. When host-dad came home, we went on bike trip, as he said 1hour, turned out to be 3...4 hours trip. But it was great to be outside and see Meppen' nature, which is wonderful! :)

Penultimate day in camp!

Hey!
Tomorrow is last day of our camp :( These were some good days, but better ones are waiting.

I already talked about first day. So, i talk shortly over other days.

Mittwoch aka Wednesday:
*Who wanted went for a run :)
*Breakfast, bröchenid!
*Energizer
*We talked about culture and adapting. First we learned about it by playing card games. Mau-mau. It was actually the same game, just every table had it's own rules and you only knew about rules your table had. And since it was not allowed to talk, you had to keep your eyes open and notice rules yourself, like learning a new culture.
*Lunch, veelmore bröchens!
*More about culture!
*Dinner
*Workshopid: History, politics, patriotism
*Homegroup, talking about your day
*Bed check and later to sleep :D

Donnerstag ehk Thrusday:
*No jogging, team wanted to sleep! xD
etc.
*Schnitzeljag - that's how we learned about communication, we were given papers with questions and exercises and had to find answers to them. We got 3rd place! :)
*More about communication
*Dinner
*We talked about finding friends, like where and how is the easiest way. We were also put into groups and had to make short movies about misunderstandings.

Freitag ehk fryday:
*Jogging
*Facebook breakfast. Hosts stood up one by one and said what they are posting and what they like and chare and comment.
*Energizer + discussed why we had facebook breakfast
*Carmen, from Hamburg YFU offcie, visited us and talked over the rules and our seminars
*Lunch
*Talking about family, that you have to value "ice mountains" lower part aka part that you can't see.
*Tips, how to make our exchange year easier and little bit about habits.
*Watched films we made
jne

Samstag ehk laupäev (täna):
*Jogging, Rudolf, alone :D
*Breakfast
*Energizer
*Talked about Germany's train system. Like what kind of info is on tablos and tickets. We also got our own train cards.
*Lunch
*Free time! ~5h xD
*Dinner
*Last night together. Different challenges, guessing how old are our hosts, playing cards (people sit in circle on chairs, they are shown one card and they remeber the mast, if your mast is said and nobody sits on your lap, you sit on other's lap), macarena+disco+packing suitcases.

Sonntag ehk pühapäev ehk homme:
*7:30 üwake up
*8:00 suticases ready and little bit later on bus and to train station where we are put on trains.

Finally I get home!!! :) Waiting to meet my family! :)

In total we had here 38 students + 10 hosts
We had very very cool days here! :)

And here is picture about where teens in our camp go in Germany.

And here is picture about my homegroup.

Camp ! :)

Soo!

Exchangeyear has begun and I have already managed to take some pictures. Not so many, but it's something.

First I was afraid of flying, but later i found it pretty fun, specialy when going up and landing back down. But if plane had to turn, then I didn't like. At least on both flights I had Rudolf next to me, so I had someone to talk with.

In Riga air port waiting we went to eat and for first time i tried sushi! Very very tasty! Maybe I will eat it soon again :) Later we also ate some cake.

In Hambrug air station we had ~1,5 free time, so we mostly chatted and walked around.  We also bought food. All togehter flying took over 3 hours.

That's where is our camp! ^_^
First day started from 8AM and for morning we had bröchen (google). After breakfast and little break we were put in little groups and got to know eachother better. We talked also about our fears and what we wait from this camp. After that we went to shop, so many different Milka chocolates! After lunch, all countries had to make posters about their country and introduce it after dinner to others. Before dinner we had brithday party where we played games. After that we ate, finally warm food! After getting to know countries there was little play from german YFU team. After that we were put in 4-5people groups where we got notebooks to write in what we learn from a day:)

But now... Good night!
